What happens if someone solicits you?

It has come to light that a person and (or) persons may be contacting THE DARK NIGHT ONLINE clients and partners, either misrepresenting their status as representatives of this organisation and (or) inferring they have the genuine capacity to help TDNO clients. While victim solicitation by other parties is nothing new to my experience (in eight years of victim support), this may be new to some of my clients.
So here is what you need to know.
The person(s) involved in solicitation may potentially be misrepresenting the state of cases generally or your case specifically and question your case progress. It is however very certain they will be leveraging your IMPATIENCE as a method to coerce and manipulate you through FOMO or FEAR OF MISSING OUT. Those attempting to solicit you may use defamatory, libellous and slanderous statements about others that have no basis in reality, and which could easily be disproved if challenged.
Keep a record of the communication and forward this to evidence@thedarknight.online
The simple fact is that justice does take time. Your PATIENCE and PERSISTENCE are key traits that contribute to resolving justice, especially within the realm of a new arena like crypto fraud.
It should be understood more generally that the underlying aim of predatorial solicitation may be to poach TDNO clients to achieve personal unreported profits from opaque back room deals with law firms. Commissions that you may not be made aware of. All the while at face value appearing 'charitable'. If you experience this, you can reach out via SUPPORT.
If your case ultimately ends up with a predatory law firm or an unregistered lawyer who has not passed the bar, there may be an opaque pre-negotiated arrangement that you are not aware of. An opaque plan may be to lure you in for free-at-first, only to introduce high fees paid for by you through unnecessary very high back-end recovery percentages.
If you didn't know about this when sign up, there is a very real potential that you could pay significantly more than is reasonable or necessary to resolve your case and achieve financial reparation or restitution.
Meanwhile success could be achieved at low cost or no additional cost (beyond affordable paralegal investigation or evidence processing services your main cost is patience) through programs that collaborate with law enforcement who are public servants paid by taxpayers.
The main issue with law enforcement effectiveness has been lack of training. Most of the cases I take on have already failed the judicial process through other investigators or by police. My response has been to take those difficult cases (with client permission) into law enforcement training and evidence processing through legitimate partner programs.

The aim of the TDNO: PROACT GLOBAL TASK FORCE (PGTF) is to facilitate victim centric support from law enforcement by providing an effective training environment across real-world victim cases that have failed in the judicial system.
DIAGRAM BELOW: Presents a very simple track and trace of funds flow from a FAKE TRADING PLATFORM. Most cases have much more complex obfuscation techniques that insert false positives like money laundering mules, and which use mixers to create significant transactional complexity. While AI tools are helping to identity patterns, there is no replacement for expert examination and verification and without identity attribution cases fail in the judicial process.

TDNO Proact Global Task Force is a victim centric justice workgroup and is about to announce two major global partners, introducing a collaboration pathway to existing national workgroups that are well known to law enforcement.
The operation already unites the top crypto forensic software company, the best trainers and the leading law enforcement training organisations, along with operators who are already at the top of their field.
In fact, very soon, I will personally be entering ALL CASES into QLUE to ensure that all TDNO cases are accurate and have the best possible success. Cases will be processed according to BEST PRACTICE STANDARDS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. I am not here to profit from your misery.
My aim is to democratise justice for all TDNO clients and not to place filters on cases based on high value cases taking priority over low value cases. If I can cover my costs, that's all I need.
Those soliciting you may have ulterior motives and bigger ambitions.
The unspoken activity of predatorial recovery operations (even some that may initially approach as a charity) is to filter high value loss cases that are then farmed out to unspecified law firms who will then deduct massive fees from the high value recovery cases. In fact, many US based 501(c)(3) charities charge significant fees in the thousands of dollars for services that may not provide realistic or equivalent value. This is feedback from shared victim experiences.
As founder of TDNO it is my view that exploitation of victims by profiting from their misery is unethical, especially to manipulate vulnerable people for profit.
It is my self-discipline to place the dignity of people at the highest ethical values. I have a proven track record for behaving privately in lock step with my publicly expressed principles.

NB: FOR TRANSPARENCY: I have opted for TDNO to remain an Australian Sole Trader ABN entity. One of the reasons for this is that a USA based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity cannot get directly involved in the influence of politics. Yet legislative change is needed. TDNO intends to represent client cases to ministers of political parties. I will personally seek to influence politicians and political parties to improve legislation to better serve the victims of cyber, crypto and financial crime.
I have removed persons from the endeavour whose values are not aligned with the mission. I will only work with persons and parties whose personal and organisational values align with those expressed in this post to serve victims.
TDNO also intends to go after the SaaS, IaaS and PaaS platforms that have aided and abetted criminals or which have been used to afflict victims at enterprise scale. We will go after the organisations that have obstructed justice. Including holding law enforcement, complaints authorities and ombudsmen accountable for their failures.
TDNO is significantly under resourced in this work, and I will personally appreciate all the support I can get. After 8 years I struggle to financially resource this work. Your support is appreciated. Help me to help others by making a donation to cover my costs.
