Deep fake is an artificial intelligence software that can mesh a realistic fake digital version of any person, over the top of a real person's movements and facial expressions. Deep fake technology can apply both to voices and to digital, visual representations of people. The technology is so good, that under normal circumstances online, and if you are not told the video is fake, most people will easily believe that the deep fake is the real person.
