Proact Task Force is the main thrust of our focus for the latter part of 2023. Why? Restitution, which is the recovery of stolen funds is the main goal of the victim and of TDNO. During 2022 there have been roadblocks in the justice process around the validation of criminal association with wallets, along with other barriers to recovery through the criminal justice system. Some departments and staff have written off solvable cases due to departmental processes around not pursuing cases with 3 or more hops (wallet transfers). Yet in many cases, criminal association can be achieved with improved software and training. It is important that we pioneer investigative interdisciplinary best practices with all our partners worldwide. The rationale is that what is good for one is good for all, literally. Which is about establishing a precedent, then wash, rinse and repeat the correct process. Hence education and training of law enforcement, combined with working on real victim cases and within a judicial narrative process, is critical for upskilling law enforcement to be more effective at restitution. While we have not yet publicised TDNO PROACT TASK FORCE, collaboration is already occurring and we are in the process of formalising participants. This activity is not funded by external patners and the cost of this is carried by TDNO. Our model includes back end percentages for successful recovery and it is in our own best interests to persist to make breakthroughs for all of our clients. There is no discrimination between our pro bono clients, which represents 90% of our clients, or paid clients. In reality, all cases are not-for-profit.

We are here to solve the problem for everyone
